Today I went to The Tea Room QVB in Sydney’s Town Hall with some girlfriends. The tea room was absolutely beautiful, better than the pictures I have seen. We had a lovely brunch with finger sandwiches, sweets and I had a milky tea. Afterwards I met Mitch and we went over to Central Park – Spice Alley for a Matcha Iced Latte at Glider KS cafe which was super cute and the girls there were lovely!

Sunday saw us at The Grounds of Alexandria with our friends for a lovely get together and brunch. The Grounds of Alexandria, now much ‘overrated’ is easily one of my favourite cafe/places in Sydney. There is just so much to see there and it seems like a getaway from the city.

On Saturday the 22nd of April, we headed to Mount Macedon. When we turned the corner around the Honour Avenue, it was heaven, the wide road was lined with bright orange and red autumn trees. We were lucky to arrive early in the morning as there was absolutely no one there – when we drove past later in the day there were tourists everywhere! After that we grabbed some lunch in a quaint and cute little postal store and cafe and drove up towards the Forest Glade gardens. We paid the $10 per person entry and walked around the gardens. It was such a large garden, one that you can easily get lost in for hours.

Last week, I had a super long weekend off. So in the good spirit of things.. I booked tickets to Melbourne. We had such a great time frolicking around the city in the autumn leaves. Melbourne was cold, gloomy and grey but it didn’t hinder our experience there. As usual it was a sleepy romantic city.
