Today was a lovely sunny day, we headed to Lorne, a coastal town two hours away from our area. There was a car meet on so I managed to get some cool pictures. After that we drove to Erskine Falls and Teddy’s Lookout.

Today Mitch and I headed to Melbourne City to explore. First we went to Hosier Lane to get some video footage, it took us a while to find coffee. Mitch took his coffee at Duke’s Coffee Roaster and about thirty minutes later I found a bistro style tiny cafe in the Royal Arcade – I can’t remember the name of the place but it was really good. After that we caught the tram to Fitzroy to go to Hotel Jesus.

Today we left the house at 10:30AM and headed to Williamstown where we had a coffee at Cafe Cirino in the sun. It was lovely weather wise, sunny with a sharp chill in the air fixed by rugging up. We walked around the pier and water before we headed to eat pho for lunch. After that we drove for a little bit and strolled through a small botanic garden.

Melbourne | Part 3: Forest Glades Garden

On Saturday the 22nd of April, we headed to Mount Macedon. When we turned the corner around the Honour Avenue, it was heaven, the wide road was lined with bright orange and red autumn trees. We were lucky to arrive early in the morning as there was absolutely no one there – when we drove past later in the day there were tourists everywhere! After that we grabbed some lunch in a quaint and cute little postal store and cafe and drove up towards the Forest Glade gardens. We paid the $10 per person entry and walked around the gardens. It was such a large garden, one that you can easily get lost in for hours.

Melbourne | Part One

Last week, I had a super long weekend off. So in the good spirit of things.. I booked tickets to Melbourne. We had such a great time frolicking around the city in the autumn leaves. Melbourne was cold, gloomy and grey but it didn’t hinder our experience there. As usual it was a sleepy romantic city.
